Libre Software

Here's a bunch of my favorite software on the internet.
All of it is licenced under the GNU Public License (GPL) unless listed otherwise.

Creative Software

GIMP

GIMP (GNU Image Manipulation Project) is an excellent image editor similar to Adobe Photoshop, except it's free!

Krita

Krita is truly a wonderful drawing program, with hundreds of brushes, and 20 years under it's belt, there's nothing you can't do!

Inkscape

Inkscape is the FOSS counterpart to Adobe Illustrator. It's a solid program that's completely free! And that's a great price!

LMMS

LMMS is a music creator in the style of FL Studio. Despite it's steep learning curve, It's a very powerful program that can create great music.

Kdenlive

Kdenlive is a video editor that works, Despite it price of $0.00, it can hold its own against Sony Vegas Pro.

Blender

Blender is one of the most popular 3d modeling programs in the world. With not only the ability to model, but to render and animate too!

Games

OpenTTD

OpenTTD is one of those games that you can sink hours in at a time. It's been actively developed for 17 years. Plus, its available on Steam too!

FlightGear

FlightGear is a really good Flight Simulator. With advanced physics and OpenStreetMaps Support, It's the closest you can get to flying an airplane without spending $4,500 on Lessons.

SuperTuxKart

SuperTuxKart is a fun, arcade racing game similar to Mario Kart. The game honestly looks beautiful.

O A.D.

O A.D. is very similar to Age of Empires, But Its Free! Taking place between 500 B.C. and 500 A.D. It's an Extremely Fun game with Great Mechanics

Browsers

Firefox (MPL)

Firefox is the most well known Open-Source Browser, and for good reason too, Firefox is a very mature browser, and the only major browser to not use Blink, Google's rendering engine.

Brave (MPL)

Brave is probably one of the best browsers built off of the Blink rendering engine. With a built in ad-blocker, and the ability to be paid to see ads, this browser occupies a niche that needed to be filled.

Palemoon (MPL)

Palemoon is a very interesting browser, Think of it as an older version of Firefox, with regular security updates and an upgraded rendering engine.

Basilisk (MPL)

Basilisk is the little brother of Palemoon. More Expiremental in nature, it comes with a different user interface, and RTC Support that Pale Moon lacks.

Ungoogled Chromium (BSD)

Ungoogled Chomium is exactly what it sounds like. Chromium without the bloatware from Google. It's a bit difficult to download though. Here is probably the easiest download.
